Refunds
Because our products are personalised and made to order, we are unable to offer refunds for change of mind.
If there has been an error with your order or your item arrives damaged, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery with clear photos of the item and packaging. We will review this and do our best to offer a replacement or suitable resolution where appropriate.
Once your order has been marked as delivered by the carrier, responsibility for the item passes to the customer.
Customer responsibility for order details
Please double-check all names, dates, spelling, and design details before placing your order. We are unable to offer refunds or replacements for errors provided by the customer once production has commenced.
If you have requested and approved a proof, Elkwood Designs is not responsible for any errors that were present in the approved proof.
Shipping delays
While we do our best to dispatch orders within our stated timeframes, Elkwood Designs is not responsible for delays caused by postal or courier services, including transit delays, customs processing, or delivery disruptions.
Caring for your products
Please handle your items with care. Many of our pieces are delicate and designed primarily for decorative use. To keep them looking their best, avoid prolonged exposure to heat, moisture, or direct sunlight.
Wood grain and natural variations
Each item is handmade from natural timber, so every piece will have its own unique grain, texture, and markings. These natural variations are part of the beauty of timber and are not considered faults. We are unable to offer refunds or replacements based on wood grain differences.
Product safety and use
Some items may contain small parts that could pose a choking hazard to young children. Our products are not toys and should be used under adult supervision at all times.
For safety reasons, we do not recommend hanging items above cots, beds, or within reach of small children.
