By purchasing from Elkwood Designs, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read these carefully before placing your order.

The information, products, and services published on this website may include inaccuracies or errors and are subject to change without notice. Elkwood Designs reserves the right to update, modify, or amend these Terms of Service at any time.

Your continued use of our website and services constitutes acceptance of any changes to these terms.

Orders & Custom Work

By placing an order with Elkwood Designs, you confirm that all details provided (including spelling, names, dates, and design preferences) are correct.

We are not responsible for errors made by the customer in their order details once production has commenced.

Custom orders are welcomed and considered on a case-by-case basis. Please contact us via our custom order request form with your requirements.

Production & Turnaround Times

As the majority of our products are personalised and made to order, our standard production time is up to 10 business days before your order is dispatched.

During peak periods such as Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, and Christmas, production times may be extended. Any changes to turnaround times will be reflected on our website.

Proofs

Proofs are not automatically provided for every order, as this can slow down our production process and impact turnaround times.

If you would like a proof, this must be requested at the time of purchase. We will then provide a proof for your approval before production begins.

Changes, Additions & Cancellations

If you need to make a change to your order, please contact us as soon as possible.

Changes or cancellations can only be made before your order has entered production. Once production has commenced, changes or cancellations may not be possible.

If your order has not yet been dispatched and you wish to add additional items, we can arrange combined shipping. If your order has already been shipped, a new order will be required.

Shipping & Delivery

We ship both domestically and internationally.

Elkwood Designs is not responsible for delays caused by postal or courier services, customs processing, or unforeseen shipping disruptions.

Once your order has been marked as delivered by the carrier, responsibility for the item passes to the customer.

Damaged or Faulty Items

We take great care in packaging all orders to ensure safe arrival.

If your item arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with clear photos of the damage and packaging so we can assess the issue and assist you.

Returns & Refunds

Due to the personalised nature of our products, we do not accept returns or offer refunds for change of mind.

Refunds or replacements may be offered in cases where an item is proven to be faulty or damaged in transit.

Customer Responsibility

It is the customer’s responsibility to:

• Ensure all order details are correct before checkout

• Review any provided proofs carefully

• Check emails (including spam/junk folders) for order updates

Correspondence

A confirmation email is sent automatically as soon as your order is placed. If you haven’t received this, please check your junk or spam folder.

We generally only reach out if we need to clarify something about your order. Otherwise, the next email you will receive from us will be your shipping notification once your item has been dispatched. Please refer to our turnaround times for an estimate on when your order will be shipped.

Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Elkwood Designs is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our products.
